What this is

A refurbished Dell Latitude 3310 2-in-1. Latitude is Dell's business line, which means it was built to be carried every day and repaired rather than replaced. This one has already had a working life, has been cleaned, tested and set up with Windows 11 Pro, and is sold as refurbished, not as new.

Buying refurbished is how you get business-grade build at a price that is not business-grade. Be clear-eyed about it: a machine at this price is a few years old. It will show light marks from ordinary use.

What it is good at

Email, Word and Excel, twenty browser tabs, Zoom and Teams calls, online classes, watching things, writing. The Core i5 and the SSD are what make it feel quick — an SSD is the single biggest difference between a laptop that takes two minutes to start and one that takes fifteen seconds.

The 360-degree hinge is genuinely useful rather than a gimmick. Fold it flat for a client to sign something, stand it in a tent for a film on a long trip, or leave it as an ordinary laptop for typing.

What it is not for

Gaming, video editing, or heavy design work. It has integrated graphics and 8GB of RAM. If you edit video or render for a living, this is not your machine, and we would rather say so now than have you bring it back.
